My thoughts on the three versions:
1. 10 pixels high is a bit too small for me to see clearly. Also, we don't want to have to type in the width everytime we include a suit symbol. But we could make them a bit bigger, and I can make some preshrunk images - so those problems can be fixed.
2. With the b&w symbols, I designed them especially to go with the handwriting font used in the book. They are, in fact, the shorthand that I use for the suits when I write notes about games. So its bugs my design sense a little to see them used on a webpage with an ordinary computer font.
3. Although I just designed these, I'm not sure what I think of them. They are mostly just coloured dots.
So I am inclined toward option 1.
I think we should decide on which one will be the standard for the wiki, just so that things are somewhat uniform. An advantage of that would be - if we change our minds later - we can just change one set of images.
