I played this game for the first time yesterday, and I enjoyed it. Here's my feedback after three games:

- What to do with the dice was unclear on our first play, especially on the very first turn of the game (after having given it some thought and having read the above comments, I understand you need to roll all six dice, but that wasn't obvious at first). I respectfully suggest to rewrite this section and make it clearer.

- The 7 dice/6 dice rule is unclear, we have played with 7 dice, but only rolling 6 at most, because we always kept one die and rolled the remaining ones. Also we wondered what to do with the sun action (we ended up re-rolling one of the dice that have been already rolled).

- Drawing one action card as the last thing you do in your turn is a bit strange to me; I would have put it as the first thing you do in your turn, which allows to have an action card in your first turn too. Conversely, random actions are frustrating, I would prefer to be able to select from my hand which one I want to use on my turn, after rollling the dice. If I don't want to play any action card, I just discard it, so that I always use exactly one card on my turn; when my hand is empty, I take all the cards from the discard pile back into my hand. As another alternative, I could draw three cards from the deck of shuffled action cards, use/discard one on my turn and draw another one from the deck at the end of my turn; when my draw deck is empty, I reshuffled the discard pile into a new draw deck. Anyway, for some reason, we forgot to use the action cards completely on many turns, especially on the beginning, because many actions are not so useful at that time…

- We also wondered, as pmagnus did, what to do with the cards with a double category. We decided that the discount applies if you control the category where you want to put the card.

- Regarding ties, I didn't understand what "tied categories" means (read: I needed to take time thinking about it). It is obviously the categories where the token remains in the middle; but I didn't get it at first :( About breaking the ties, the players could compare on both sides the cards with the highest values; if these are equal, they can compare the cards with the second highest values and so on. I think it's less error prone than summing up the face values.

- As a bonus, statistics on the cards would be interesting: there are 10 character cardss, but only 6 event and place cards, plus 2 event/place cards. This influences what cards are more important to get.

A lot of things I hadn't considered… well, you're the first one to have a look at it besides my wife and I :)

You understood the Pawn control correctly. I thought I had corrected all the "tokens", but I'll have another look at that.

We have been playing the game with tokens working just as an indication of who's controlling the Pawn (they go back to the middle in case of a tie), but we'll try the other way in our next game.

Again, we've only tried playing the game one way: you only get a discount for the type you buy the card for (the highest possible discount is 1). We'll need to try the other way too, but I think it may give too much importance to Locations and Events.

I think I get it now.

If I understand correctly, the rule is this: If you have more cards on a Pawn than your opponent, you are winning that Pawn. This allows you to pay less for cards that match the Pawn during the game. At the end of the game, the player winning the most Pawns wins the game.

The talk of "tokens" is just a way of tracking who is winning which Pawn. It's still a bit confusing, because "token" is also used to indicate suit tokens in a couple of the special power descriptions.

If that's right, I have a couple of questions.

First, suppose I put a card on the Location Pawn first. The control token goes on my side. Then my opponent gets a card there. Does the token stay on my side, because they have not got more than me? Or does it go to the middle, because it's tied? (Note that the latter would make the token just a way of displaying information already on the table. The former would make it an additional part of the game state.)

Second, how does the discount for controlling a pile interact with cards that have two types? Suppose I want to pay for the Market. If I control the Location Pawn but want to put the Market on the Event Pawn, do I still get a discount? If I control both the Location and Event Pawns, do I get a double discount?

Note to self: never post rules between 2 and 3 in the morning again!

I'll edit the rules right now, but I'll answer to your questions here first.

On your turn, you roll 6 dice, minus those you decided to keep from the opponent's roll that they didn't use. The 7th die is here for the Suns action.

The game ends when both players have had a turn after the last card was drawn from the deck (similar to Magnate, only with one rotation of the deck). Players then compare the number of tokens on their side. Whoever has the most wins the game. In case of a draw (0-0 or 1-1), players compare the values of the cards in the tied categories. The relevant marker token goes towards the player who has the highest value in this category. If this is not conclusive, tally up all the cards' values, whoever has more points wins. As a last resort, you can compare the number of counters in front of each player.

I'm not sure including so many tie-brakers is a good idea, but those can easily be edited out if they end up unnecessary.

The Courts could be used indeed. I don't have the extended deck, so I didn't think of that.

I added the part about the Extended deck just to use the structure given when creating a new game on the wiki and, as I said, it was getting late… The Excuse is out, as well as one of the personality pawns.

Thanks for your interest! I hope you can play the game now. Otherwise, please ask and I'll try to clarify.

This looks neat, but I have a few questions:

How many dice are usually rolled? As I understand it, a player can set aside any dice that already have values that they like. Then they roll the rest. If a player uses all 7 dice in this way, though, I'm not sure what the Suns action does.

What is the victory condition? When does the game end?

The suits of the Pawns don't seem to matter, so a personality, location, and event from the Courts could be used just as well. Right?

The rules say that the Excuse isn't used, but the section on the extended deck says that it is. Maybe there was an Excuse rule that got (partially) edited out?
